This is a question that has been asked by some brethren.
There are a few ways this can be done. Please give any or
all of the below suggestions your prayerful consideration.
1. Make plans right now that you are going to attend in
August 3-7, 2011. This is the best way to help us.
2. Invite a friend to the Conference. What a great time to
reach out to someone and invite them. Perhaps taking
sometime to write them a letter of invite or even suggest
they visit the website.
3. The 2010 Conference voted to have accommodation costs in
2011 is subsidized at half cost for adults, along with the
usual subsidies for teens and college students. The reason
for this is that because of the economy some find it
difficult to come because of the cost. It was a step of
faith by the brethren to want to try this, trusting that the
Lord
would provide the Conference the means to accomplish this.
You can help by sending in a donation(s) to the General Fund
to offset the large subsidy cost that we will have.
4. Another way you can help the Conference in the long run
is to send a donation to the CBC Endowment Fund. This will
provide dividends that can be used in future years. The
Endowment Fund was formed some years ago with the intention
of subsidizing costs for our younger attendees. As this fund
continues to grow it will have a greater impact on
offsetting costs now and for the future.
Donations should be made out to “Christian Believers
Conference.” Specify to which you wish you donation to be
applied; General Fund or Endowment Fund.
