Last years conference's them was
"Offering the Sacrifices of Praise" taken from Hebrews
13:15 - "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a
sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name."
We know that our walk in Christ does not
mean we are completely insulated from the troubles in this world.
Christians face the same trials that the world deals with and sometimes,
we face extereme difficulties that pose a great challenge to our faith!
This year's conference began with a video of a family that had to endure
a potentially devestating experience. Some of you may have heard about
this situation via Jeannie Weeks' email sharing list. Gary and
Jamie Harney are friends of the 2010 Conference Chariman, Steve Teunis.
The following video is the fantastic testimony about choosing praise and
courage during their personal and tramatic storm.
We ended our event with the "Your
Beautiful" video below. No matter what the world may tell us, no matter
what Satan tells us about ourselves, no matter what the challenges and
struggles that we face, we will ALWAYS be "Beautiful" in His eyes!
